One-Day Design Solution
What is it? A budget-friendly plan which will provide you with the resources and design tips to re-do your space at your own pace. You’ll get a PDF ‘road map’ to streamline and guide you through the process -- including a furniture plan, color suggestions, and web links to specific furniture, lighting and accessories that will work in your space. It includes one on-site meeting and one follow-up phone or email consultation.
What doesn’t it do? I don’t implement the ideas for you, or hire and manage contractors – that part is up to you. The benefits are twofold; a substantial savings, and the ability to pace your expenditures and schedule to suit your lifestyle. Also, because of the complexities of construction, kitchens, baths, and custom cabinetry are not available as part of this package.
What does it look like, and how much does it cost? Just email me a request for a sample or pricing and I’ll get it right out to you.
Full Service Design
It can be daunting to plan a room redesign or renovation, and time consuming to oversee it.
That’s where we can help. From a townhouse renovation to a room re-do, we provide guidance from start to finish with space planning, furniture and fixture selection, color palettes, and in the case of renovations, assisting with and overseeing the bidding and construction process. In addition to paying attention to details on the planning end, we will be there as the work progresses -- on the phone with vendors, on the site with contractors, and at the cabinet shop to inspect custom work so you don’t have to. We’ll even go to IKEA for those clients who are IKEA-phobic (or to order your non-custom kitchen)! For more information please email me.
If you want some help with a color palette, furniture plan, or just some ideas of how to make your space function better, then our Design Coaching service may be the perfect fit. You can purchase a package of hours which can be used for in-person consulting at your home or office, and off-site work (like sourcing furniture or creating drawings) -- you decide how and when you want to use the time. If you need some guidance on a kitchen project but don’t have the budget for a designer, then you may want to check out my bestselling Kindle book, Kitchen Design and Renovation: a step-by-step guide to planning and managing your kitchen makeover.
